Art Therapy

Colors And Shapes Inspire Me...

Art therapists use a variety of materials, such as paint, clay, pencils, crayons, chalk, and collaging. I also will include art journaling among the gems of art therapy, as it is a fun way to express what one is feeling through doodling on a page or being creative in other modalities. Because we are made in the image of God, we were made to be creative.  You may think that you have no artistic ability but that is not true. Before you begin, pray and ask God to remove any creative blockages and replace it with creative inspiration. Everyone has different levels of creative talent, but talent is not the agenda of art journaling or art therapy. So grab yourself a paint brush and start expressing yourself freely with no judgement or  comparisons of anyone else’s art.
